Traveling with a dog limits your stays. After researching, I finally decided on this place. What a great location. It’s a 12 level condo but having access on the ground floor with a KING size bed was amazing. The pool access/view from the condo & short distance to the beach is perfect. The building is older but condo owners have done some updates. It is very comfortable & clean. I was able to walk barefoot which I don’t normally do unless it’s my home. There were plenty of plush towels; washer/dryer & dishwasher (which are a huge plus for me). Never had maintenance issues (reported minor things as people complain but never report them) The grounds/maintenance personnel keep that place in tip top shape. They clean the pool everyday (which is how it should be). I’d definitely stay there again. Oh and people are friendly at South Padre! Keep Texas friendly the way I remember it.
