Sunny Shores at Saida II Updated Beachfront Condo

Welcome to Sunny Shores at Saida Towers! This beautiful 3rd floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bath deluxe condo with spectacular unobstructed BEACHFRONT views of the Gulf of Mexico. This well-furnished condo has recently been updated to the 10's! It can sleep up to 8 people and is located at the Saida II building (which has an elevator) in the heart of South Padre Island. The Saida Towers complex offers Texas size amenities, convenient location, and a beautiful beach. These are just some of the reasons that Saida Towers is one of South Padre Island's favorite family vacation spots. It is within walking distance of the Island's Beach WaterPark that is fun for all ages. Free public transportation is also located right in front of the complex which makes getting around the island a breeze. Of the 3 swimming pools, one is Olympic size (and another one is heated seasonally). It's easy to play a round of tennis with the convenience of four courts and the pool-side Palapa Bar and Burger Shack (open seasonally) make lounging by the pool just that much more relaxing.

This unit is designed with a soothing beach feel including stylish furnishings and peaceful artwork. Sit out on your large private balcony and listen to the waves as you enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise, or a nice glass of wine as you take in the stars at night. The condominium's kitchen and bathrooms were recently remodeled and are well-appointed with granite countertops and new cabinets.

The kitchen is fully-equipped, and all dishes, including plastic dishes for the toddlers, cooking utensils and bakeware are provided to complete and serve meals. The dining area has a large table with seating for 6 people plus a bar between the kitchen and dining area for casual dining or extra seating.

The open living room looks directly at the beach and houses a new queen sofa sleeper. You will also enjoy the Entertainment Center that has a DVD player and Bluetooth Stereo along with a HUGE 60" LED TV. Each room offers Cable TV along with free Wi-Fi.

The view of the Gulf is absolutely amazing from the master bedroom. It features a private master bathroom and a new king size bed. The second bedroom includes two full beds with a full bath within just steps.

This is an amazing condo that caters to families, couples, or a group of friends that just need a great getaway. The SPI area has many restaurants, bars, local shops, fishing, sailing, golfing, birding, horseback riding, parasailing and more. The SpaceX South Texas launch site, also known as Boca Chica launch site, is a private rocket production facility, test site, and spaceport constructed by SpaceX is approximately 5 miles south.

Spend the day exploring what the area has to offer and then return to your own peaceful beachfront oasis on South Padre Island. The SPI Chamber of Commerce has a large list of activities to do while at the island.

Please know that this resort will charge for wristbands for anyone between ages of 10 and 32 during the month of March/April to control access to the property during Spring Break and Holy Week. They cost $25 each and will be charged at the entrance by security.

IMPORTANT: You are booking a private beach home. As much as we like to please your every need, we DO NOT work as hotels do. We are not a 24/7 service. Any overnight requests, other than REAL emergencies, will be taken care of the next day. If there is an emergency that threatens a person's life, please call 911.

The owners of Saida II #303 welcome you to their beach home! While staying here, we ask that you follow a few requests that will make everyone's stay more enjoyable and keep the property looking good year after year.

1. Parking ~ is limited to 2 vehicles. Vehicles must be licensed, operable and registered to the occupants. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owners' expense.

2. Occupancy ~ Maximum capacity per unit is NO MORE than 8 guests. There must be at least one adult 25 years of age or older, registered, present and residing in the unit through the duration of the tenancy.

3. Pets ~ We do not accept pets in our property. The knowledge or trace of unauthorized pets will mean a fine of $400.

4. Noise ~ Loud noise of any sort; music, loud talking, boom boxes, etc. is not allowed.

5. Garbage and Tidiness ~ Garbage should all be disposed or either in the dumpster located on the ground floor or parking lot of the building. Please DO NOT dispose of cigarette butts, cans, candy wrappers, trash on the ground. We work hard to make certain the property looks good when you check in. Please help us keep it that way by picking up any litter before you leave.

6. Pool ~ Please wash ALL sand from your body BEFORE entering our pool. The pool equipment cannot handle sand from the beach and causes damage and equipment failure. Please DO NOT leave your children unattended and observe pool hours.

7. BBQ ~ BBQ pit is not included.

8. Wheelchair accessible is for standard door front entrance and elevator only.

9. Once booked, we will send a custom Rental Agreement for you to complete and send back to us. Without this agreement we will not be able to host you.

10. The guard at the entrance of the resort will charge $25/pp plus tax, ages 10-32, for the use of wristbands during the month of March "Spring Break" and Holy Week.

Important: All our vacation properties come with a "starter kit" including several items such as hotel style soaps, shampoo, dishwashing soap, new sponge, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Once these items are gone, please visit the local supermarket to replenish your needs.

Note: The owners of this property will allow Spring Breakers under the strict rules of the premises. Break the rules and be evicted without a refund.

Check in is easy and available 24 hours a day with a smart lock on the entrance door.

The smart keypad door code will be provided to the guest about 48-24 hours before arrival.

Hosts will be available for check-in assistance up until 10 pm, we ask that guests arriving late please let us know via text.

Service Animals need to be with the person they service 24/7. Service Animals cannot be left alone in the property. A service animal left alone in the property is not a service animal and will be penalized with a $400 fee.

"Early" check in and/or "Late" check out will be available, when possible, at a charge of $55 for each occurrence.

Child's highchair & pack & play on request at $25/each, billed on a separate invoice.

Date changes might be granted depending on the date of the change for a $100 change fee plus any difference in price.

Cancellations on nightly bookings only are refunded totally if cancellation occurs within 30+ days prior to arrival. Credit Card fees may apply. This will NOT apply for monthly discounted bookings. We highly recommend the purchase of your choice of Travel Insurance to try to recuperate cancellation penalties.

"We had an amazing time in South Padre. Rod and Rosa were amazing hosts. Their home was beautiful and comfortable, had gorgeous views, peaceful vibes and a homey feel. The beach was quiet and clean with constant, rolling waves. The kids loved playing in the waves, at the beach and in the pools. It was a perfect vacation for relaxing. Many dining and shopping options within walking distance. When we need another beach vacation, we will be back to South Padre!

It is as simple as punching 4 numbers in a pad and adding the check mark symbol. Really, it is better than finding a key constantly with the chance to lose it. Our condo is a real beachfront condo. Were you looking to stay inside the water? SPI doesn't have those structures. I believe you would have to go to Tahiti for that! As for the toilets, we will assess your review and act accordingly. "The place is beautiful on the inside but I did not like there was crumbs and left over food items inside the couch where the sofa bed was also the beds were not comfortable so I would have to knock down 2 stars for that I do not feel like it It was worth my money and I do not like how far away we were from the beach view The hosts were very easy to communicate with but we will not given the option for a late check out or an early chicken and I did not like that I feel like 10 o'clock is too early to have to check out Definitely not crazy about the outside surroundings the restrooms outside by the pools we're disgusting and did not have any toilet paper I feel like it's too much to walk down to the beach not as accessible as I wanted it to beIf I would say they definitely need to change those beds out. it did not quite meet my expectations but it was just good too many people not enough carts to move stuff. Did not enjoy the property .C+ and B minus. Friendly host made booking easy

It is not cool to blast bad things for others to read when while you were here did not mention anything to us. We are hands on and would have done whatever it takes to give you a 5* vacation. Regarding the 10am check out, it is described on our page. We give the option to check out late always if there is no other guest coming after. That is also described in our emails to the guests. We need time to clean for the next. For the next time, I am going to recommend that you read and do your due diligence before booking any place. "This place was amazing! We brought our two "tween" grandchildren (girls) to SPI for a few days and stayed at Rod & Rosa's condo. The place was clean, fresh, updated and well-equipped. The view of the beach was spectacular especially sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee in the morning and watching the sunrise! The location was excellent. And with a gated parking area, we always felt safe there. If we ever go back to South Padre, Rod & Rosa's place will certainly be our first choice.

"Oceanfront location and views just couldn’t be beat! Steps from the pool and hot tub and (most importantly!) the beach and the ocean. Everything we needed was provided in the condo, even a couple of helpful items we hadn’t thought of, like a rolling cooler so we could pack drinks and snacks when we headed down to the beach. Check in was easy, personalized and well communicated. Weekdays were much quieter on the property, so we recommend visiting during non-busy times if you’re looking for a more peaceful stay. (Condo itself was very quiet regardless — love that concrete construction!)

"The place was exactly as advertised. It was very clean. And quiet! Which is important to me in a beach rental. "We enjoyed a great 2 night stay at this lovely beachside condo. The unit was clean, well maintained and furnished for any length of stay. The pictures and information in the listing are accurate and there were no surprises. The grounds on the property are well maintained, the pools clean with adequate seating for guests. "It was the perfect location for us to take our 3 1/2 year old to the beach for the first time. The view from the room was beautiful and we couldn’t have been any closer to the beach. "We stayed at the condo with our two adult daughters. Both are graduating this year, one from college and one from High school. "I was very impressed with the attention to detail that the owners have given this condo. Great location and fantastic balcony on which to watch the waves. Condo was furnished nicely, and the decor contributed to the beachy feel. The kitchen was large and supplied with everything needed to cook if desired. The owners have equipped it with everything needed for an enjoyable beach vacay.

"This is a great place if you are wanting to enjoy a weekend with your family. Rod & Rosa did an excellent job at providing us with everything we needed throughout our stay. Everything from towels, kitchen items, extra bedding, board games, beach toys, and even an ice chest! I was very impressed with this airbnb because it also had a beautiful view of the beach. For anyone trying to book this place, I do want to let you know that you only receive 2 parking passes throughout your stay. In case you have additional guests/vehicles, they will have to park elsewhere.
