Wake up to the beauty of the ocean, sip coffee while watching the sunrise, and enjoy a fully equipped kitchen. We provide all the necessities, from linens and towels to beach chairs and a starter kit. Experience the perfect beach getaway! NO PETS. Complete information and Rental Agreement mandatory.

IMPORTANT: You are booking a private beach home. As much as we like to please your every need, we do not work as hotels do. We are not a 24/7 service. Any overnight requests, other than REAL emergencies, will be look after the next day. If there is an emergency that threatens a persons life, please call 911.

The owners of Beach House #3602 welcome you to their beach home! While staying here, we ask that you follow a few requests that will make everyone's stay more enjoyable and keep the property looking good year after year.

1. Parking ~ is limited to 2 vehicles. Vehicles must be licensed, operable and registered to the occupants. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owners' expense. Parking pass is a must you can pick it up at the manager's office in front of the main pool.

2. Occupancy ~ Maximum capacity per unit is NO MORE than 6 guests. There must be at least one adult 25 years of age or older, registered, present ,and residing in the unit through the duration of the tenancy.

3. Pets ~ We DO NOT accept pets on our property. The knowledge or trace of unauthorized pets will mean a fine of $400.

4. Noise ~ Loud noise of any sort; music, loud talking, boom boxes, etc. is not allowed.

5. Garbage and Tidiness ~ Garbage should all be disposed exterior dumpster on the sides of the building. Please DO NOT dispose of cigarette butts, cans, candy wrappers, trash on the ground. We work hard to make certain the property looks good when you check-in. Please help us keep it that way by picking up any litter before you leave.

6. Pool ~ Please wash ALL sand from your body BEFORE entering our pool. The pool equipment cannot handle sand from the beach and causes damage and equipment failure. Please DO NOT leave your children unattended. Please observe pool hours.

7. BBQ ~ No BBQ pit is included.

8. Wheelchair accessible is for standard door front entrance and elevator only.

9. Once booked, we will send a custom Rental Agreement for you to complete and send back to us. Without this agreement we will not be able to host you.

Important: All our vacation properties come with a "starter kit" including several items such as hotel style soaps, shampoo, dishwashing soap, new sponge, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Once these items are gone, please visit the local supermarket to replenish your needs.

Note: The owners of this property will NOT allow Spring Break activity on the premises.

Check in is easy and available 24 hours a day with a smart lock on the entrance door.

The smart keypad door code will be provided to the guest about 48-24 hours before arrival.

Hosts will be available for check-in assistance up until 10 pm, we ask that guests arriving late please let us know via text.

Service Animals need to be with the person they service 24/7. Service Animals cannot be left alone in the property. A service animal left alone in the property is not a service animal and will be penalized with a $400 fee.

"Early" check in and/or "Late" check out will be available, when possible, at a charge of $55 for each occurrence.

Child's highchair & pack & play on request at $25/each, billed on a separate invoice.

For special requests outside our scope of work, please message us to get our Concierge's contact.

Date changes might be granted depending on the date of the change for a $100 change fee plus any difference in price.

Cancellations for nightly reservations will receive a 96% refund if they are made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. Please note that a service fee of $25 will also be charged for all cancellations, regardless of the timing. There will be no refund if the cancellation comes is made This policy does not extend to bookings that are eligible for monthly discounts.

"Took the family for a much needed short vacation and it was just what we needed. The condo was tastefully decorated, clean, large spacious bedrooms with separate baths, large open living room and kitchen with windows that open to the bay. Outdoor patio to watch the sun rise. Clean walkway to the beach. Kitchen and baths supplied with all needs plus a washing machine and dryer. Private gated parking. Centrally located in a peaceful environment with everything just a short drive in either direction. Would definitely return. Many Thanks!

"This was a last minute weekend getaway with our teenage daughter and her friend. Let me start by saying Rob and Rosa were quick to reply to all my messages even before we arrived. The condo is located in a calm area of the beach and has beach access. The walk down to the beach is not far at all. The condo itself is exactly like the pictures. It is amazing from the time you walk in and extremely clean! The decor is relaxing and peaceful. We didn't use much of the kitchen but it has everything you need to cook. The balcony has an incredible view of the beach and pool. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were immaculate. Definitely a family oriented place but a short drive from the party scene.. We can't wait to go back! Thank you for being great hosts!

"Perfect for our family of 4, loved the top floor view and small complex vibe. All the extras were provided; beach chairs and towels, tumblers for beach/pool drinks, and even some games to play together in the evenings. The island has golf cart rentals, but we were fine with short drives to the local restaurants and a walk to the ice cream shop.

"Everything about this place was wonderful! I don't even know where to start. "We enjoyed a few days away right on the beach. The place was spacious and yet cozy feeling. With cold weather we spent more time inside and felt right at home. We were warned about some possible construction that was not in the control of the owners. It ended up being more than anticipated and they quickly gave us an option to move to another place on the island. Loved being steps from the ocean and the great view from the kitchen and living space.

Greatest getaway of serenity and sunshine

"This property had everything we needed to make a home away from home at the beach. It was super clean, well furnished, kitchen had all the needed items. The location was perfect; easy walking access to the beach; easy driving to the bridge & the grocery store. The swimming pools were clean--one in full sun during the day and one in the shade which was perfect in 100 degree temps, both perfect for an evening swim. The property felt safe with security codes and gates. The online photos were exactly what we found when we checked in. We would recommend this place for relaxing retirees, fun families, or a work-from-home getaway space. The shore, the gulf waters, waves and sunrise were perfectly viewed from the balcony. We will return to this property in the future, for sure.

"We really enjoyed staying at Rod and Rosa’s condo. It was just as it was described and looked in the listing. It was clean and smelled good upon arrival. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. The view of the ocean was so lovely whether you were on the balcony or just in the main area of the condo. The walk to the beach was easy as was the walk to several local restaurants. We’d definitely stay here again.

"We were pleasantly surprised with Rod & Rosa’s place! The pictures shown were exactly what we got. The home is beautiful, has an elevator and easy beach access. The 2nd bedroom was a little smaller than we thought but still plenty of closet and dresser space. Beds were not as soft as we had hoped for but it was quiet and peaceful to make up for that. The house was well cared for and had anything we needed. The checkin was simple and I don’t think we could have picked a better spot to enjoy the sunrises! Thank you for a great stay! We would definitely recommend this place!

"Rod and Rosa’s condo is a beautiful and convenient spot to stay on South Padre Island! The kids had a blast with the easy beach access. The condo is on the top floor of the building and the area is very quiet even in the middle of SPI spring break party season, so we had a fantastic night’s sleep and would wake up to the sea breeze and sunrise over the Gulf in the morning. We’ll definitely book here again next time we’re SPI!

"My girlfriend and I have made it a tradition to visit SPI in October, a week before Halloween. The weather is perfect. It’s not too hot or cold. We love the low key atmosphere of the island, during this time of year. This condo unit provided us a memorable experience of our time on the island. It is roomy, modern, with an amazing view of the beach. I absolutely loved watching my girlfriend enjoy the sunrise each morning while drinking espresso coffee and reading her Michener book. The complex is close to everything. The Blue Marlin Supermarket is about a 1/2 mile. Louie's Backyard and the other bayside restaurant/bars is less than a mile. The birding center and sea turtle center is about 2 miles away. Do consider this condo unit on your trip to SPI.

Vacation on South Padre

"We had a very relaxing vacation at "A Ray of Sunshine on the Beach". For decades we had used a rental company and something always went wrong. This time our stay was perfect. We were very comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out. If Rod and Rosa will have us we would love to come back again. Thanks so much and we look forward to doing this again soon.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

"Our quick 5 day stay on SPI at this beautiful beach condo was a great beach getaway. We enjoyed sitting on the large balcony watching the waves and the spectacular sunrises as well as beautiful harvest moon over the water. A quick short walk and we were in the water. The condo was great as described and very clean. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time at the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here. The hosts were great to work with and provided great communication regarding the details of the stay- loved the link to the flyer which had all the info we needed for our stay.

Great views and great location

"The condo was very clean and checking in and out was convenient. This is a beachfront property so it is a very short walk to the sand. The views of the ocean are amazing from a spacious balcony with seating. The location is great with restaurants and shops within walking distance. This complex has a gated entrance and there was plenty of parking available in the lot. I was happy with our choice of rental and would recommend staying here!

"This is a gem. It’s a fantastic location furnished perfectly for a beach get-away with the kids. We stayed for 4 nights and wished we had stayed longer. No need to bring beach toys or chairs as Rod and Rosa already have you covered. The view of the beach was perfect to wake up to every morning.

"Amazing condo for families in SPI! I stayed with two young kids and my in-laws and loved the easy access to the beach and pool for everyone. The condo was extremely clean and spacious, with very comfy beds. The whole apartment seems recently remodeled, so it wasn’t stuffy or dated, and also had everything we needed from beach towels and chairs to a fully equipped kitchen. We loved the expansive view of the ocean from the balcony and feel that the owners thought of every detail to make us feel welcome!

"We loved our stay on SPI! A Ray if Sunshine on the Beach was really cute, comfy and had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing week on the island. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and evening to enjoy the view. Very easy walk to the beach and it was also great to have easy access to the pools and hot tub. Hosts were very informative and responsive. Highly recommend!

"A quick 5 day stay on SPI at a beautiful Beach Condo was an enjoyable Get-Away. Morning coffee sitting on the deck, enjoying the waves, and beach below and watching the dog walkers, followed up with time by the pool or toes in the sand on the beach. The condo had everything needed to enjoy the stay from beach towels and chairs, to board games and a blender. 5 Star rating - I wanted to expanded the stay a little longer.
