Welcome to Casa Mar Azul! 5 Bedroom Beach Luxury just steps to the Beach!

Experience the splendor of this stunning three-story beach residence, complete with a two-car garage, a private heated pool and spa, and five bedrooms. Revel in the luxury of four balconies, including one that overlooks the pool with outdoor furniture, as well as another featuring a swing perfect for watching the sunset. This new construction boasts the highest quality decor and an open floor plan with a spacious kitchen island equipped with all necessary appliances and utensils. Enjoy breathtaking views from three balconies, and take advantage of the expansive private pool with a hot tub, and provided bicycles and beach essentials such as chairs, towels, and a wagon. The sleeping arrangements include a California King bed in the master suite, a Queen bed in the second-floor guest room, six Full beds, one Twin bed, and 4.5 baths. The first floor offers a generous living space with a bar, an extra-large couch, and a smart TV for entertainment. Please note that pets are not allowed. Guests must be aware that additional information will be required on a signed rental agreement.

IMPORTANT: You are booking a private beach home. As much as we like to please your every need, we do not work as hotels do. We are not a 24/7 service. Any overnight requests, other than REAL emergencies, will be look after the next day. If there is an emergency that threatens a persons life, please call 911.

The owners of Casa Mar Azul welcome you to their beach home! While staying here, we ask that you follow a few requests that will make everyone's stay more enjoyable and keep the property looking good year after year.

1. Parking ~ is limited to 4 vehicles. Vehicles must be licensed, operable and registered to the occupants. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owners' expense.

2. Occupancy ~ Maximum capacity per unit is than 15 guests. There must be at least one adult 30 years of age or older, registered, present and residing in the unit through the duration of the tenancy.

3. Pets ~ We do not accept pets in our property. The knowledge or trace of unauthorized pets will mean a fine of $400.

4. Noise ~ Loud noise of any sort; music, loud talking, boom boxes, etc. is not allowed.

5. Garbage and Tidiness ~ Garbage should all be disposed green/blue dumpsters on the sides of the building. Please DO NOT dispose of cigarette butts, cans, candy wrappers, trash on the ground. We work hard to make certain the property looks good when you check in. Please help us keep it that way by picking up any litter before you leave.

6. Pool ~ Please wash ALL sand from your body BEFORE entering our pool. The pool equipment cannot handle sand from the beach and causes damage and equipment failure. Please DO NOT leave your children unattended. Our pool water gets HOT during the summer months, the only heater ON during the summer months is the good old SUN.

7. BBQ ~ No BBQ pit is included.

8. Once booked, we will send a custom Rental Agreement for you to complete and send back to us. Without this agreement we will not be able to host you.

Important: All our vacation properties come with a "starter kit" including several items such as hotel style soaps, shampoo, dishwashing soap, new sponge, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Once these items are gone, please visit the local supermarket to replenish your needs.

Note: The owners of this property will NOT allow Spring Break activity on the premises.

Check in is easy and available 24 hours a day with a smart lock on the entrance door.

The lock box code will be provided to the guest about 48-24 hours before arrival.

Hosts will be available for check-in assistance up until 10 pm, we ask that guests arriving late please let us know via text.

Service Animals need to be with the person they service 24/7. Service Animals cannot be left alone in the property. A service animal left alone in the property is not a service animal and will be penalized with a $400 fee.

"Early" check in and/or "Late" check out will be available, when possible, at a charge of $55 for each occurrence.

Child's highchair & pack & play on request at $25/each, billed on a separate invoice.

You are booking a private beach home. As much as we like to please your every need, we DO NOT work as hotels do. We are not a 24/7 service. Any overnight requests, other than REAL emergencies, will be look after the next day. If there is an emergency that threatens a persons life, please call 911.

Date changes might be granted depending on the date of the change for a $100 change fee plus any difference in price.

Cancellations on nightly bookings "only" are refunded totally if cancellation occurs within 30+ days prior to arrival. Credit Card fees may apply. This will NOT apply for monthly discounted bookings.

"House is beautiful and plenty of room for a large family. Beds are comfortable, air conditioner works great. Having access to extra blankets ,beach bags, bikes, chairs, umbrella and beach wagon was awesome. Everything was very clean and kitchen was stocked well. Our teenagers would have enjoyed having a TV in their bedroom though. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to everything. We could see the Fireworks show on Tuesday and Friday night from the upper front deck !

"We stayed at Casa Mar Azul for 3 days (May 2024) and had a fantastic time. There is a ton of room, all of the bedrooms have their own attached bathroom and shower. The master bathroom was almost as big as my first apartment. Everything was very clean and in condition. We had a couple of issues during our stay, but the support team was very quick to reply and to get someone out to fix the issue. The house came supplied with a lot of things that make a beach house comfortable. Lots and lots of beach towels for the pool or the beach, bikes and helmets for riding, sand castle building tools, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. were all on site. 5 out of 5, would definitely stay here again.

"It was very enjoyable. We arrived at check in time, everything was easy to access. Plenty of towels, blankets, beds, and bathrooms. All kitchen necessities ready to use. The doors were a tricky kind of lock to handle, but once you get the hang of it, it’s all good. Everything was clean and organized, felt at peace with that. Even requested a high chair and playpen, which was there waiting for me upon my arrival - huge plus!

"My family had a wonderful stay at Casa Mar Azul. We enjoyed our stay. The children enjoyed the pool. The home was stocked with everything we needed including floaties for the pool, bikes to ride, plush beach towels, etc. We didn’t have any issues during our stay, but if we had a question, Rod and Rosa were responsive. Casa Mar Azul is one of the best homes we saw on South Padre so we would stay again if we are back in South Padre and recommend to others visiting.

"We look forward to our annual family vacation and this was a year where we all wanted to stay somewhere extra special. With the number of people in our group it was important to decrease cost by making majority of our food at home so it was great to have a spacious kitchen/dining area so that we can all be together. "It is a beautiful home we enjoyed the stay. The only down fall is the master bathroom shower never got hot and hardly any water pressure so I had to walk to the hallway bathroom to shower every night. The pool felt like it was heated it was to hot to swim in and the doors in the house are very hard to lock. It would have also been nice to watch TV in our rooms they’re only two TVs in the whole house and they’re located in the living rooms. Other than those few things, it is a beautiful home, and we would consider staying again. Rod and Rosa were very responsive and great hosts.

Hi Ashley, sorry about your experience, a simple phone call and we would have fixed the hot water in about 5 minutes. About the pool - it is has been a heat index over 100 degrees for over a week, we can't control the weather! The owners of this million dollar home did not want their kids and family members all watching TV instead of enjoying the home and the beach, hence only a few TVs. Thanks for staying with us.

"Place was very large and well-furnished/equipped. Be aware, you'll need to fill out a 3rd party contract that runs a background check on the person renting the place, also, they will want to know names and ages of every person staying on the property. I found it a little excessive for a short-term rental but it's cool, they're protecting their investment, I get it, somewhat. Also, there is no BBQ pit, there is an old crusty one on the 2nd floor balcony, but it is not usable. When I asked if one could be provided during my stay, I was told I could rent a little one for 25.00 (cleaning fee). I personally think for 2k a night all-in, one would be provided to their guest. I winded up buying one, using it, cleaning it and leaving it there for the next guest. I think it's a given, a family on vacay at the beach is going to want to bbq at some point. Other than that, everything was in order and the host were nice.

Dear Tino, We are glad that you came to visit and suppose you had a wonderful time since you don’t talk about it here. Our beach home is large and very costly. Yes, we don’t only try to protect our $1.5 million investment, but we follow city ordinance that requires an agreement with names, ages, etc. from every Short Term Rental guest. This in case of an emergency the police, FD or EMS know who is staying at our place. To say the least, it is us following the law. Regarding your comment about “no BBQ pit”, we used to have a great gas BBQ but it was always left filthy for the next guests. The housekeepers do not have time to clean BBQs left dirty by our guests and we do not want to have cpmplaints. The alternative is to borrow the ones we have at our office and pay $25 for someone to clean it, bring your own or buy a cheap one at Walmart. We thank you for buying one, but we had to remove it because of the reason I just explained. We always appreciate great guests. "Wonderful stay and really great communication from start to finish. The place was awesome and had plenty of room for kids/adults. Great large kitchen and common area and all the supplies we needed to cook multiple meals. The beds were comfy and all the appliances were in like new condition. They provided large plush towels on every level which made it convenient to grab a towel when kids were wet out of the pool or after showering on side of house. The pool and spa were also really nice and used daily. Downstairs is a perfect retreat for the youngsters. It even has its own snack bar area, bev fridge and seating area. Lots of bathrooms and lots of space. The tvs were also really nice. I would 100%recommend this place and will rent again in the future!

Spring Break Stay

"We stayed at this home with my two sons and several of their friends. The layout of the home was ideal for our purposes. The first floor provided a perfect area for the boys to hang-out in while swimming and playing their video games, and each bedroom had its own bathroom which allowed everyone to enjoy some privacy without disturbing one another. The home is professionally managed, and the staff/owner were very responsive to any minor issues or questions that arose during our stay. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay!

"This house was everything and more that we were hoping for. A block away from the beach, chairs coolers and other beach items were available at the house. We rented a golf cart for the week and everything was super close, we had the best time.

"This house was exactly what we needed for our big family vacation. This home is beautiful and stands out from the rest. On the outside it is amazing. So amazing that several people walking by asked us about how we booked it. The inside was just as impressive. The space was perfect for the 4 families that stayed in it. Every family had their own bathroom which was very convenient. It is half a block from the beach. The beach access was not far. The only thing that would have made the trip even more perfect was the temperature of the pool. It was so hot during the days that the whole pool felt like a hot tub. However we still used the pool. Rod and Rosa were very quick in their responses to our questions. The directions for the home were clear. We would definitely stay here again.

Best rental, literally ever!

"Our group of ladies have been making a girls trip to South Padre Island for 18 years. We have stayed in some really great places including some right on the beach and this was hands down the nicest place we have ever booked. The house is beautiful, well appointed, fully stocked with no detail left unfulfilled. They had everything we could possibly need, plenty of space, great pool, kitchen and common areas, incredibly comfortable beds and the hosts were kind, thoughtful and responsive. They looked to meet every need for the most amazing stay we have ever had. We hope to make this our regular place!

"This house was absolutely exactly what we needed for a family celebration. Every amenity was right at hand. The owners were immediately responsive to all communications. There was room for games and visiting, TV, and meal prep and family dining. The sleeping arrangements were perfect. The pool and spa were clean and nice, but the water was extra warm in the sunny weather. The outdoor shower and hose made it so easy to clean off the sand from the beach and keep the house clean. With four kids it was great having the washer and dryer. The only minor inconvenience was the ice maker…we just bought a bag of ice every couple days. The towels, beach toys, folding chairs and wagon were so accommodating, thank you! Everyone in our group of 11 thought this was THE BEST! John Moltz

New property, easy walking distance to beach

"Our group had a wonderful time staying at Casa Mar Azul. The house is spacious and immaculate, and the hosts are very responsive to text and email. The house comes with a starter supply of dish soap, bar soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. The house includes a wagon, beach chairs, towels, coolers, pool toys, and bags. The pool is gorgeous and has a large shallow ledge, which is perfect for small children to splash. We struggled to turn on the hot tub heat and jets for the adults. We texted the host about the issue, and they sent someone out immediately.

Beautiful Home

"This house was absolutely amazing, clean, spacious and well stocked. We had a group of twelve people for vacation and we were so impressed with how clean the entire house was and the fresh flowers made the entire house smell amazing upon arrival. There was plenty of room in the bedrooms and bathrooms, they were well stocked with towels, starter toilet paper, shampoo and soap. The kitchen, dining room and living room was spacious enough for all of us to gather, eat and hang out. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans and cooking utensils…more than what you would need. The wet bar on the first floor was very convenient for cold drinks at the pool and a half bath to easily use. The pool was good size and a great temperature to swim in. There were three bikes that were nice to use as the island wasn’t very busy. There were plenty of beach chairs, towels,cooler, pool toys and bags to make going to the beach a breeze. The beach was located about three houses down, a very short walk. There is a gas station within walking distance and a grocery store not too far from the house. Check in was super easy and communication with the owners was great. If you are staying on SPI this is a great place to stay!

"What a great place! Location was perfect, just a quick walk to the beach! Even our toddlers and young children could walk with no complaints! This house is beautiful and clean. The perfect get away

"To say we were impressed with this house would be an understatement!!! From top to bottom this home is perfect and impeccably decorated…they have everything stocked that you will need for your stay with plenty of kitchen utensils along with high end appliances to make cooking for large groups a breeze!!! Proximity to the beach is amazing along with peak views of the ocean from multiple decks. We had two families with a total of 5 teenagers who were also very impressed!! The owners as well as the property manager were great communicators and quick to respond. The pool and spa were an added bonus to an already amazing place! 10/10 would highly recommend!

THE place to stay on the Island

"This is hands down the best vacation rental our family has ever stayed at. We went with another family (total 6 kids ages 5-11), and the kids didn’t want to leave! The house is better than the pictures, if that’s even possible. Immaculate, modern, comfortable, even adorned with fresh flowers upon our arrival. More than enough space for our 2 families, steps away from the beach, and the pool and hot tub were a hit! We cooked all of our meals over the 5 days at the house, because nobody wanted to leave! Not much more to say except that we hope to make this a regular annual trip. I would do the 6 hour drive to South Padre JUST to stay at this house!
