Ground Floor Bayside Beauty Walk to the Beach

Beautiful Bayside condo on West Oleander St., perfect getaway for some relaxation or for anglers and/or beach goers. This very bright unit gives you everything you need for the perfect beach or bay vacation. The complex has a clear water pool and is located about a block and a half to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, shops & entertainment venues. The ideal South Padre Island bay side retreat! This condo is located on the Bay side interior. The space is large for a 2BD. Lots of light makes the unit a happy place! This is an entire condo on the ground floor, no stairs required.

IMPORTANT: You are booking a private beach home. As much as we like to please your every need, we DO NOT work as hotels do. We are not a 24/7 service. Any overnight requests, other than REAL emergencies, will be taken care of the next day. If there is an emergency that threatens a person's life, please call 911.

You may receive an email from them regarding a credit from Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals for the rental of your preferred beach equipment. Visit their website to select from a wide range of high-quality beach gear to make the most of your beach getaway.

The owners of Paradise Bay #4 welcome you to their beach home! While staying here, we ask that you follow a few requests that will make everyone's stay more enjoyable and keep the property looking good year after year.

1. Parking ~ is limited to 2 vehicles. Vehicles must be licensed, operable and registered to the occupants. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owners' expense.

2. Occupancy ~ Maximum capacity per unit is NO MORE than 6 guests. There must be at least one adult 21 years of age or older, registered, present and residing in the unit through the duration of the tenancy.

3. Wheelchair accessible is for standard door front entrance and elevator only.

4. Pets ~ We do not accept pets in our property. The knowledge or trace of unauthorized pets will mean a fine of $400.

5. Noise ~ Loud noise of any sort; music, loud talking, boom boxes, etc. is not allowed.

6. Garbage and Tidiness ~ Garbage should all be disposed in the building's dumpster located on the west side of the parking lot. Please DO NOT dispose of cigarette butts, cans, candy wrappers, trash on the ground. We work hard to make certain the property looks good when you check in. Please help us keep it that way by picking up any litter before you leave.

7. Pool ~ Please wash ALL sand from your body BEFORE entering our pool. The pool equipment cannot handle sand from the beach and causes damage and equipment failure. Please DO NOT leave your children unattended and observe pool hours.

8. BBQ ~ BBQ pit is not included.

9. Once booked, we will send a custom Rental Agreement for you to complete and send back to us. Without this agreement we will not be able to host you.

Important: All our vacation properties come with a "starter kit" including several items such as hotel style soaps, shampoo, dishwashing soap, new sponge, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Once these items are gone, please visit the local supermarket to replenish your needs.

Note: The owners of this property will allow Spring Breakers under the strict rules of the premises. Break the rules and be evicted without a refund.

Check in is easy and available 24 hours a day with a smart lock on the entrance door.

The smart keypad door code will be provided to the guest about 48-24 hours before arrival.

Hosts will be available for check-in assistance up until 10 pm, we ask that guests arriving late please let us know via text.

Service Animals need to be with the person they service 24/7. Service Animals cannot be left alone in the property. A service animal left alone in the property is not a service animal and will be penalized with a $400 fee.

Child's highchair & pack & play on request at $25/each, billed on a separate invoice.

For special requests outside our scope of work, please message us to get our Concierge's contact.

Date changes might be granted depending on the date of the change for a $100 change fee plus any difference in price.

Cancellations on nightly bookings only are refunded totally if cancellation occurs within 30+ days prior to arrival. Credit Card fees may apply. This will NOT apply for monthly discounted bookings. We highly recommend the purchase of your choice of Travel Insurance to try to recuperate cancellation penalties.

"Our family of four loved our stay here! Just a few blocks from the beach (if you want to walk) and plenty of public access beach spots within 5 minutes driving. The complex was very quiet. The rooms were clean. The pool and hot tub were great! We also appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils. We’ve noticed in our stays at other airbnbs there are always certain items missing like pizza cutters, cheese graders, etc. This place had every utensil imaginable though! The only thing that you should be aware of is the internet is pretty slow. I had to do some work from the place and had to hop on my phone’s 5G to upload/download several items. All in all, a great stay and we would not hesitate to book here again next time we are in the area.

"First and foremost the place is amazing in person and looks just like the photos. Very cozy and very home like. A great destination as the beach was only 2 streets away. Check out their welcome guide i cannot stress that enoigh there is all the useful information you need. "We had a wonderful stay. It was perfect for our family of 6. It was our first visit to South Padre Island and the location was perfect. Everything we wanted to do was within 5-15 minutes of the condo because it was so centrally located. It was also our first experience with an AirBnb. We especially enjoyed the comfortable living room set up for family movie nights. The large kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast and nightly meals. We loved the convenience of the washer and dryer in the unit. We also enjoyed the comfortable bedrooms and beds. The AC was excellent and had no issues staying cool day or night. The location of the pool was perfect and great for our family of 6. We were the only family that used the pool the entire stay. The location was quiet. Overall I would highly recommend this unit to any budget minded families. Only a few minor repairs were needed. (The blinds in the living room on the left, some of the doors had issues locking etc.) But it was nothing that impacted our stay.

"Great home nice and clean the rooms are spacious, living room and kitchen great size for a family of 6 looking to stay at the Island. Definitely enjoyed ending each day there in the pool/jacuzzi. "Great place! Loved the location! Beach is walk accessible, but we drove everyday because we had too much to carry. Owners were great about communicated with us and the self check-in was so easy! Place was clean and ready for us upon arrival! Would highly recommend this place for the location and the price! Enjoyed our stay! Only knock would be that the hot tub wasn’t really a hot tub, it was more of just like an extra baby pool. But who comes to this place for the hot tub, great experience!

"The condo was beautiful, comfortable and a perfect place to stay for our family of 6. The beds were awesome, we all slept really well. The pool was great and we basically had it to ourselves the whole time. The location was pretty central, quiet and safe. We felt comfortable letting our older two boys explore on their own. We weren’t able to walk to the beach like we thought we would, but that was only because our 5 & 3 year old weren’t down for the walk, if we’d thought of it a heads of time, we would have rented a golf cart. We didn’t have a single problem driving, though, traffic was never bad. Beach was easy to get to, clean and not crowded. Rod and Rosa communicated very well, check in was a breeze and were greats hosts. Exceeded our expectations.

"Our rental was fantastic. Great communication for expectations of the property. Our condo was clean, well equipped, comfortable, safe, and fit our family perfectly. Location was within 5 minutes of everything but still far enough away from all the "crazy kids" clubs. Street was quiet with no insane parties. Loved our time here and will be back again!

"Amazing place. I highly recommend. The place was clean and decorated very nicely. The beds are comfy as well. Great location just a walk to the beach. Crossing the Main Street wasn’t an issue as it only got busy at night. The pool is a little small but we enjoyed it and made the best of it while we cooked burgers on the grill, but who goes the beach for the pools anyway. That’s what the ocean is for. Would definitely book again and recommend to my friends.

"We really enjoyed our stay, the condo was clean and smelled good. There was ample room inside for the three of us and our dogs. The walk to the beach was too far and required crossing a major busy road so we drove instead. The pool was a bit small for all the guests. It overall was an enjoyable stay.

Hello Raquel, thank you for your review. I understand you found the beach far away but it is really 2 blocks from the condo (one short block and one long block). The condo complexes' pools are all small because we have little and expensive land to build in, lots normally are 50X125 square feet. "To begin, our host Rosa was a wonderful, caring, and considerate host. One glitch: We did not stay at this condo. Even though we made reservations in September, the owner did not tell our host that the condo was not available until we were actually on the road traveling from Illinois to South Padre Island. Rosa found us alternate housing for our stay within hours that was more than suitable for our needs. Rosa kept us informed and answered our calls and texts, often within minutes. Her efforts turned a potential disaster into a wonderful stay on SPI. Thank you, Rosa! No wonder she is a Super Host!

"The place wa clean and spacious. The beds in the bedrooms were great, but don’t expect to use the pull-out bed in the living room. The mattress was extremely thin with springs poking through. Too uncomfortable to use.

"We had a great time staying with Rosa. It's hard to be far from the beach in Padre so I won't delve into that, we were right there next to the beach. We were within walking distance to some great places to eat and and have a few drinks and, as I eluded, 2 great beaches. Great space, nice amenities, pool, sweet A/C, all that we were looking for.

"Place was amazing. Had all the comforts of home that you could ask for, especially the kitchen. Exceptional for our family of 4. Extremely clean. "Great spot, modern and comfy with everything you need. There was no cable, which was a surprise to property management and turned out to be a provider issue. Rosa was quick to reply to questions and requests and very helpful. We really enjoyed the accommodations. We were only able to use the pool and hot tub on the first day, as a large family took over the space and grills for most of the weekend. We spent a lot of time at the beach, so this wasn't a huge issue. We just ordered delicious pizza from Gabriella's instead of grilling and rolled with it.

Good morning, I am sorry I did not offer to reimburse you for your jacket. This is the first time someone asks me to do such and I thought that since we do not have control of what happens on the exterior of our unit those Clorox drops could have happened in any other place. We addressed the cleaning crew and they say they do not use Clorox. The pool area and dumpster are part of the HOA and I already contacted them to see if they could replace lounge chairs and BBQ. Also they are going to talk to the Garbage Company to replace the dumpster and repair the gate doors. We are sorry for the inconvenience and are happy you had such a great time!
