Studio 409 for YOUR Beach Getaway!

STUDIO for 4 people: queen bed & sofa bed. Fully equipped kitchen has fridge, microwave, blender, pots, pans, cooking utensils, plenty of room w/living space, large TV, Streaming TV, WI-FI, closets/drawers & more! Located across the street from the beach, close to restaurants, shops & bars. 2nd floor, no elevator. One pet allowed, max of 25 lbs with a $100 pet fee. Vista Del Mar is centrally located in the entertainment district. This 3 story condo complex is located across the street from the beach. Our condo is located on the 2nd floor (no elevator). Just outside your door you can enjoy the sunrise in the morning and the sunsets in the evening. Complex features gated outdoor swimming pool area with BBQ grill. Friendly onsite maintenance manager is there daily to make sure the complex is looking great. Entrance to open parking area is on the next street over (Tarpon St) you will see a sign a sign that says Vista Del Mar. Parking permit is required. We will need the full description of your car to avoid hefty towing fees. So close to the beach and entertainment district.

Only ONE (1 car) allowed to park on premises with a Parking Pass displayed on its dashboard. The remaining vehicles have to park in the island's public parking. Please be notified of towing enforced.

While visiting the pool, please wear the wristbands.

IMPORTANT: You are booking a private beach home. As much as we like to please your every need, we DO NOT work as hotels do. We are not a 24/7 service. Any overnight requests, other than REAL emergencies, will be taken care of the next day. If there is an emergency that threatens a person's life, please call 911.

You may receive an email from them regarding a credit from Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals for the rental of your preferred beach equipment. Visit their website to select from a wide range of high-quality beach gear to make the most of your beach getaway.

The owners of Vista del Mar #409 welcome you to their beach home! While staying here, we ask that you follow a few requests that will make everyone's stay more enjoyable and keep the property looking good year after year.

1. Parking ~ is limited to 1 vehicle. Parking pass enforced. Vehicles must be licensed, operable and registered to the occupants. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owners' expense.

2. Occupancy ~ Maximum capacity per unit is NO MORE than 4 guests. There must be at least one adult 21 years of age or older, registered, present and residing in the unit through the duration of the tenancy.

3. Pets ~ One small dog is allowed with a non-refundable cleaning fee of $100/dog. Access to property will not be permitted until payment is collected. The knowledge or trace of unauthorized pets will mean a fine of $400.

4. Noise ~ Loud noise of any sort; music, loud talking, boom boxes, etc. is not allowed.

5. Garbage and Tidiness ~ Garbage should all be disposed of in the dumpster located on the east side of the building facing Pompano St. Please DO NOT dispose of cigarette butts, cans, candy wrappers, trash on the ground. We work hard to make certain the property looks good when you check in. Please help us keep it that way by picking up any litter before you leave.

6. Pool ~ Please know that only the booked guests are allowed in the pool area. Wristbands are enforced and the complex does not allow parties. Wash ALL sand from your body BEFORE entering our pool. The pool equipment cannot handle sand from the beach and causes damage and equipment failure. Please DO NOT leave your children unattended and observe pool hours.

7. BBQ ~ BBQ pit is included. Please clean it after each use. Thanks!

8. Once booked, we will send a custom Rental Agreement for you to complete and send back to us. Without this agreement we will not be able to host you.

9. Wristbands are mandatory while in the pool area.

Important: All our vacation properties come with a "starter kit" including several items such as hotel style soaps, shampoo, dishwashing soap, new sponge, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Once these items are gone, please visit the local supermarket to replenish your needs.

Note: The owners of this property will allow Spring Breakers under the strict rules of the premises. Break the rules and be evicted without a refund.

Check in is easy and available 24 hours a day with a smart lock on the entrance door.

The smart keypad door code will be provided to the guest about 48-24 hours before arrival.

Hosts will be available for check-in assistance up until 10 pm, we ask that guests arriving late please let us know via text.

Service Animals need to be with the person they service 24/7. Service Animals cannot be left alone in the property. A service animal left alone in the property is not a service animal and will be penalized with a $400 fee.

Child's highchair & pack & play on request at $25/each, billed on a separate invoice.

For special requests outside our scope of work, please message us to get our Concierge's contact.

Date changes might be granted depending on the date of the change for a $100 change fee plus any difference in price.

Cancellations on nightly bookings are only refunded totally if cancellation occurs within 30+ days prior to arrival. Credit Card fees may apply. This will NOT apply for monthly discounted bookings. We highly recommend the purchase of your choice of Travel Insurance to try to recuperate cancellation penalties.

"It's just as the picture it was so nice saved money by cooking they have pots and pans blender and all they even have beach chairs and stuff so you can take , it was about 2 minutes walking distance to the beach so no sand in car was perfect. Definitely staying here again !!

"It was a nice and clean small apartment with all of the amenities you would need for a weekend at South Padre Island! There is a grill (bring your own coal) by the swimming pool, and it is a short walk to the ocean. There was not a problem with noise, but just a warning for those new to South Padre, at night and during summer months there are quite a lot of young people partying and driving up and down the main road playing music and sometimes yelling out of their cars. During the winter months it is nice and tranquil, but the sea is colder, and the sky is greyer, so it's a bit of a tradeoff.

"Finding the parking lot was the hardest part about staying here, which is not their fault. It was in a super convenient place as right down the street there is a beach access! The owners were wonderful about giving information and were super responsive when I texted them! The place itself is super cute, the AC worked wonders and the pool outside looked super clean the entire time I was there!!

"We stayed here last year as well and loved it! It’s a nice little place near many good restaurants and a block from the beach. It’s really clean and organized and there were plenty of toiletries, towels, blankets, kitchenware, etc. They even left 2 laundry pods and some dryer sheets in case you needed to wash clothes. The bed is EXTREMELY comfortable and the couch is nice too. The TV allows you to watch all the applications (Netflix, Hulu, Disney plus, prime, etc) you just have to sign in. There’s also a decent size fridge and freezer. The owners are really communicative and kind, they also respond pretty fast if you have any questions. The price is pretty reasonable for the location and amenities. Overall this is a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it!!

"We had a great weekend trip to South Padre. The studio was perfect for our needs. Very clean and had everything we needed. "Great place to stay for a quick getaway. Beach access is close and pool was super clean and peaceful. Wi-Fi is slow spotty so I had to use my hotspot; I think it's a shared router with the room next door. Overall it was a cute, cozy and wonderful stay.

"Rod and Rosa’s place is in an amazing location with the beach just a short walk away. The place had everything we could have possibly needed. Communication was great and made the stay easy going. One thing to note is there are plenty of neighbors and the balcony to walk to the rooms is small so you will hear your neighbors from time to time leaving their room, going to the beach, or heading to the pool. Other than that minor detail, the stay was great, the room was great, and the location was great! I would recommend staying at Rod and Rosa’s and look forward to staying again!

"Perfect location! One block from beach access. Be sure to catch the sunrise...glorious! Rod & Rosa were really great and awesome communicators. "it's a cute little place I would say for 2 people unless you have older quieter kids. I have a 3yr old and 11yr old not a place for them. but there was a problem we came across at about 1am not major but I contacted the owners and they replied back at 8 in the morning. nad there was someone there fixing the problem at 2pm which was awesome. I didn't know it would happen like that. this place was just a quick walking distance to the ice cream shop. only right up the street to see a very good fire works show. and also right up the street and easy access to beach.

We certainly hope Airbnb lets their guests know that we are not a hotel, we don't have 24/7 maintenance, front desk or a concierge. If an emergency happens were the TV doesn't work or the Internet is off or even if the electricity goes off, we will repair or work at it the next morning. If it is an emergency, we insist for you to call the non emergency police department phone number of if it is a matter of life or death we recommend you to call 911. BTW, we are normally sleeping at 1am but if you call, we will answer. We are not looking at our email all night long! Our best regards, Rod and Rosa

"Very clean, looked exactly like the pictures, bed was clean and comfortable, short walk to everything on the beach, pool was big enough and didn't feel crowded with other renters and we appreciated the shade after baking in the sun lol. We appreciate the condo had extra towels, toiletries, and kitchen supplies! Some places don't do this, which is why I brought my own which I didn't have to use! I will definitely recommend staying here to family and friends because of the great communication and price Rod and Rosa have to offer!

"The place was very cute! It was located in a perfect spot near the beach and other little shops. The only problem we had was the air seemed a bit muggy like the AC wasn’t taking out the humidity. My fiancé and I had a laugh about this next thing because it wasn’t a huge deal, just a first for us. The shower head was barely tall enough for me and I’m 5’4” my poor guy is 6’1” lol. Overall it was nicely put together and a comfortable place to stay.

"Pros: Location was wonderful, it is literally across the street from the beach and only a 5 min walk. Cute on the inside with nice beach like decorations. Beach chairs were in the closet (4 of them) A/C blew cold but the unit was a almost falling out of the wall but worked just fine The shower was nice and had a seat in it. Price was great for the location. Pool with sitting area. Outside shower for when you come back from the beach. Close drive to just about anything. Overall we had a very nice vacation, and would stay here again. Cons: Poor communication at check-in, we arrived late but had communicated that to the host but still when we arrived they were unreachable at 10:30pm. Never received email with check in process, informed host the day before but still did not receive this infor till we were there for 1 day. Address listed stated a different unit than one in title heading, luckily with some critical thinking it was easy to figure out that night. Was unclear where we would be able to park, the first night we just guess with fingers crossed. Kitchen served its purpose but had little to no counter space for cooking No ice maker in the freezer.

"We really enjoyed our stay! Rod and Rosa were communicative and prompt with their responses to questions. After a small snafu with their cleaning company left our original unit unclean from the last guests, Rod came over right away to switch us to a comparable unit in the same complex and gifted us a gift certificate to one of their favorite local restaurants for the trouble (which was delicious, by the way!). I appreciated the ease of the check in/out process. The units were homey and comfortable and a very quick walk to the beach.

"Rod and Rosa’s condo is exactly as described and pictured. I walked to the beach multiple times a day. It’s probably a 3 minute walk. There is a subway and a convenience store within 2 minute walk. I cooked several nights. The kitchen area is crammed but had everything I needed including spices, pans, and utensils. I wanted a bike so Rod conjured up a (very nice) bike for me. The parking spot isn’t my favorite just because you have to walk 100 feet to get to the condo and I’m lazy. It’s a very small place so keep that in mind. My dog seemed to feel a bit cramped. There is plenty of grass and the beach to take him for walks and to play. Rod was very responsive when I wanted the bike and then followed up to provide a bike lock. Bed and couch were comfy enough that I don’t remember (no issues). Nice folder with greeting message and coupons etc when I arrived.

"Wow. We feel like we got a great deal on Rob and Rosa's place. The apartment was a great space and just a block from the beach and many great restaurants. We wouldn't have needed our rental car. "What a great place to stay in SPI. It was very clean, great location, and very quiet at night for sleeping. Rod and Rosa are just a text away if you need help with anything. They communicate well and made sure we were comfortable. If I come back to SPI, I would stay there again.

"We had a wonderful stay. All the instructions were very clear and understandable. Ant the room was perfect, it had everything we needed and clean. We loved and I mean loved the location right in the middle of different restaurants and super close to the beach, and when we came from the beach we enjoyed the pool (which is a plus). Highly recommended to visit the South Padre Island.

"Super clean! Everything you need is in the condo. And i DO mean EVERYTHING :) (except food lol of course) The AC works great, Bed is super comfortable! They allow pets which is a major plus because we didn’t want to leave our pup. The pool is right across and the beach literally 3 min away walking distance. Parking is great too because it’s specifically for the condos. Thanks once again!

"The room was exactly like the pictures and the beds were incredibly plush. In fact the only issue was that there was an adjoining room where a remodel was taking place, resulting in loud hammering and strong paint fumes seeping into our room. Though this wouldn't be the owners fault and should not be reflected as such. Other than that, this was a great place to stay for us and our precious puppy!

"This studio apartment was lovely; was as described. Walkable distance to most places (beach, restaurants). We only had to drive to the store and to Schlitterbahn. A big plus was that pets were allowed and we came with out two Boston Terriers. Would stay here again.

"My wife and I stayed for a 3-day weekend in June and were super satisfied. We will definitely stay here again. The location is really great, right across the street from the beach access path so it was easy for us to go to the beach in the day, return to the condo for a lunch break, and then go back for long walks in the late afternoon. It is also centrally located just a few blocks from the best restaurants in town and super close to the evening fireworks display. The condo itself is clean, bright and cheery. My wife loved the décor and commented on the high quality towels, linens, and kitchenware (we had breakfast each morning and sometimes lunch as well). Although the space is not huge, it had everything we needed, even beach towels and chairs. We pushed the two twin beds together and slept great. The beds were comfortable and the condo complex was very peaceful. Be prepared for two short flights of stairs because the unit is on the top floor, but that's why you get a view of the pool and the neighborhood plus a slight view of the beach and lots of natural light when you open the curtains. We were pleased that the A/C worked GREAT, and the shower had plenty of water pressure. Our host Rosa was very responsive, making sure we had clear instructions for parking and easy check-in. We loved our home away from home, thank you Rosa!
